Foundation This is a great site for administrators looking
for assistance with many aspects of non-profit management and
operation. Some funding information is provided.
Chronicle
of Philanthropy An e-zine primarily for non-academic grant
seekers and fund raisers. Deadlines and Internet Resources sections
are free. There are resource links to government agencies, who's
who in federal grant management, Abe's grant report, daily summary
of grant opportunities in the federal register with links to
full RFPs.
Community of Science The Community of Science is an internet site for the global research and development community that compiles expertise, funding opportunities and an abstract management system. It is a place to see and to be seen. It also offers multiple funding alerts (which can be sent to you via email weekly) based on your search criteria and than be changed and modified as needed.
FastWeb
A searchable database of scholarship, fellowship and grant information.
Registration is required but it provides access to information
from 3,000 sources.
FinAid
This site contains good reference material for undergraduate
and graduate students. Information on scholarships, loans, and
grants provided.
Foundation
Center This site is primarily for MSWs administering grants
and agencies needing program funds. There is a wealth of information,
writing assistance, and tools. For research grants: search by
foundation or by topic and get information that allows you to
link to appropriate sources.
GrantEd
Contains nationwide foundation links. This is a big site. Some
foundations will specify research grants. A good site for PhD
students looking for money.
Guidestar
This site is a great resource for P&A students who will
be doing fundraising, program grants, and generally looking
at and for money.
Harry
Frank Guggenheim Foundation Sponsors research on problems
of violence, aggression, and dominance. For established scholars
and dissertation fellowships. The HFG Review is cataloged through
1996 and contains articles on aggression and violence.
Michigan
State University Grants and Related Resources A must see
web site for students and those new to the grant seeking arena.
An excellent resource for students just learning about grants.
This site addresses graduate funding and provides excellent
description of information sources for grant writing. Visit
"grants for individuals" for access to a multitude
of resources.
Npower
This site is primarily for NFPs seeking program funding. Good
resource for P&A students and teachers.
Poverty
& Race Research Action Council This is the main site
for this non-profit group. They attempt to link social science
research and advocacy work specifically at the intersection
of race and poverty. They catalog lots of articles and information
and provide small grants (maximum $10,000) and fellowships.
Progressive
Technology Project This project has an interesting internship
program for those with an interest in social justice, community
groups, and social change. The project seeks to strengthen citizen
action, raise public participation by under-represented communities,
and build stronger grassroots organizations by exploring and
supporting the effective use of information technology. Web

Student
Financial Assistance This site is provided through the US
Department of Education. Great basic information: FAFSA online,
basic information, Pell grants, Perkins loans, etc.
