SSW Alumni Organization is Calling for Nominations
Posted: Jan. 25, 2012

The University Missouri School of Social Work Alumni Organization invites you to nominate students, faculty members, alumni, or community agencies for a School of Social Work Annual Alumni Award. The Awards Program is sponsored by the School of Social Work Alumni Organization (SSWAO), a division of the Mizzou Alumni Association. These awards are the highest honor bestowed upon alumni, faculty, students, and community agencies each year by the School of Social Work and its Alumni Organization.

Consider nominating your field student, a co-worker, a colleague, or an agency. By nominating someone for the Awards Program, you not only pay tribute to the specific contributions of the individual, but also bring validation and recognition to the profession.

Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2012 Awards Program. Submission deadline is February 29, 2012. Download nomination forms with award criteria. Awards will be presented at the School of Social Work's Spring Forum. Nominations are accepted from both members of the alumni organization and non-members. Nominees may also be member or non-members.

If you have any questions regarding the nomination form, please contact Deborah Simmons at simmonsd@missouri.edu. The Awards Committee looks forward to receiving your nomination.
