A defining feature of the social work profession is its commitment to assist those most vulnerable in our society, including the youngest and the oldest, the ailing and the oppressed, the troubled and the most troubling.
At the School of Social Work in the College of Human Environmental Sciences, we believe that education in social welfare and social-service policy is essential to adequately address the needs of all persons in our society.
