School of Social Work Annual Awards Program
Sponsored by the MU School of Social Work Alumni Organization
The School of Social Work Annual Awards Program is sponsored by the School of Social Work Alumni Organization (SSWAO), a division of the Mizzou Alumni Association. The awards program was started in 1995 by the School of Social Work Alumni Organization (SSWAO) to recognize the outstanding achievements of faculty, alumni, students and social service agencies. Through the awards program, the SSWAO and MAA express pride and appreciation for these individuals and their service to higher education and the profession of social work.
These awards are the highest honor bestowed upon the school's alumni, faculty, and students each year by the School of Social Work and its Alumni Organization.

The School of Social Work Alumni Organization (SSWAO)
accepts nominations for the Annual Awards Program each year from October 1 until February 28. Nominations are accepted from both members of the alumni organization and non-members. Nominees may also be members or non-members. Please contact Deborah Simmons, the Executive Staff Assistant, at (573) 882-4447 if you have any questions. Please help us recognize our many outstanding students, faculty, and alumni by submitting a nomination form (RTF).
