What GRE score is needed to get into the MSW program?

In response to recent trends across the country, the MU MSW program no longer requires submission of GRE scores.

What are the deadline dates for applying to the MSW program?

If the deadline falls on a weekend or University holiday, applications are due the first business day thereafter. Applications received after Early Priority dates, but by Rolling dates are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis for any unclaimed admissions seats in the upcoming class. School of Social Work scholarships are not available to Rolling applicants. These dates supersede deadlines which may appear in earlier publications. We welcome early applications.

Can I submit my application early, before the deadline date?

Yes! We welcome early applications. Evaluations of all applications received will not begin until the appropriate deadline date.

What scholarships are available to me?

Undergraduate students should fill out the MU Scholarship Application available on-line at: https://sfa.missouri.edu/.

Graduate students should apply EACH year for social work scholarships by completing the School's Scholarship Application by January 15 and returning it to the graduate program support person.

Can I take a tour of campus?

Yes! The MU Admissions office runs tours of campus daily: 11:15; 12:15 & 2:15. Contact Admissions at (573) 882-2456 to schedule a time. Or visit the Campus Tour web site at: http://admissions.missouri.edu/visitus/index.php.

Any change in fees will be effective irrespective of whether fees have or have not been paid by or on behalf of a student prior to the effective date of the modification.
